I got a shock the other morning when I arrived at the aerodrome & found that I was in Wing orders to go to another squadron about 25 miles away as a flight commander. The C.O. was frantic about it & said that if they took me away he would apply to go back to his regiment. He rang up the wing commander & protested against it & in a few hours the order was cancelled so here I still am.  I would not like to be sent to another squadron as I have a very particular interest in my flight here as because I have really built it up from nothing. Anyway I am not going this time, so all is well. 

I see that old Snow who was my flight commander in France and of whom you have often heard from
