some words and sort of gets stuck for the right word at times. However that will pass in time & he will get quite over it. I had great old yarns with him. Tell Mrs Ferguson that he is really & truly very well and awfully bright and cheery.
Ross Kerr & Austin Curtin were over on leave & we all went to the theatre together last Monday with Aunty & the girls. They are both looking splendid.
Old Drew, who was in 10 squadron with me, came back from France this last week and we had an evening together in London. Pearson, my old observer, has gone back to France as a pilot and is back with dear old 10 Squadron again. I had a letter from him yesterday.
Theo is at Reading with the R.F.C. now – I am trying to meet him on Sunday.
I am so glad to hear that J.L.M. has been appointed to the Upper House. I will write & congratulate him as soon as possible, but meantime will you congratulate him for me.
Brendan was still at the Artillery School in France when I last heard & seems very cheery. Bryan is back with his battalion again now but they are not likely to be in the offensive at present.
