& told Auntie Mary how much we appreciated her efforts to bring you back & the long journey she took from Fowey to Cornwal London to see Major Warner. It was most kind & good of her. We know travelling is expensive & yet we dont want to hurt her by offering to reimburse her but perhaps you might give her something she really wants for us. We know she has not too much money for extra things & dont wish to put her to any unnecessary expense on our account so we leave it to you to adjust things.

I had letters about your M.C & the other mention from Mary, Cicely, Bryan & a cable from Gilbert & a letter from Mrs. Vidal. We are amused about your dog & it is very good of her to look after it while you are absent.
