I don't feel nearly as afraid as I was before. There is a great comfort in feeling that you are flying just the finest machine & knowing that the Hun is afraid of it. Usually there is just a nasty empty feeling just before a scrap starts when you are sparring for position, but once it does start you havn't time to be afraid.
I know, my own darling brave old Mummy & Daddy, you can't help feeling anxious about me but please God I'll be quite all right. I can only do my best and trust in God to answer all the prayers of my loving ones and bring me safely through in the end.
I really havn't any more news now so good bye for the present & God ever bless you my own darling Mummy & Daddy.
