As far as my work is concerned I have been as busy as ever. I am thoroughly enjoying it and get on well with my new C.O. His chief desire in life is that people fly hard and as I fly an awful lot that is all he wants. I have really done a great deal of flying in the last few weeks. I have Beaver as my assistant now and he is an excellent man. He is a Captain with the M.C. having shot down about 19 Huns. Beaver & I are known as the "Heavenly Twins" for we are almost exactly the same build and both fair haired and ruddy complexion. Also we are both Captains & M.C.s so the resemblance is most marked!! He is as keen as mustard and a splendid worker. I have never met such an enthusiast - he simply enthuses over everything. We had a most amusing adventure yesterday. During the last week the weather has been bad but we did not think the instructors were always flying when the weather was possible, so to show good example we have been flying
