My own darling Mother & Father,
I will take up the narrative of my adventures from the time I last wrote on May 22nd, when I was in London on leave. Next day old Bryan arrived from Grimsby on a weeks leave. We had lunch together & then he was going to have his photo taken at a place in Baker St. He suggested that the family in general might like one of the two MCs together so I went with him. We had our photos taken together & in the end I had some more taken by myself too!! The proofs are very good & I am sure you will like them when the finished copies are ready.
We met there Reg Provost & had a very cheery tea with him and the Buchanan's at the latter's flat. He was going back to Sydney on leave for 3 months and you are sure to see him. Poor chap, he looks very much done up & in need of a rest. In the evening Bryan & I went to a show together.
