My own Darling Mother & Father,
The day after I last wrote I got another batch of letters from you and Eileen, and again to day I got a letter from Melbourne on March 8th. It has been great, & I also got a great bundle of Sydney papers which always arrive a few days after each mail. I am so glad to hear that you are all so much better and brighter. What a joy darling little Roger is to you all! I am longing to be home with you all and to see the darling little chap myself. I have a photo, taken by the Mullins girls that Mary & Cicely sent me, of you & little Roger. What a fine little chap he looks!
I got the copy of Stacey Waddy's letter – it is simply wonderful how everybody loved darling old Roger so; but how could anyone help doing so?
I also got all the cuttings about the rows stirred up by Mannix in Melbourne. It fairly sickens me to read about him – you know my views about such men.
I havn't very much news this time – everything is much the same as ever. Maurice was on leave last week end and we had a couple of evenings together. Theo was in London too and he was with us. Austin Curtin was
