not see him again in this life. I will feel terribly lonely at times when I think of it all, but it is only to be a comparatively short separation for all of us, please God. I am so glad little babykins is so well – do send me a photo of him as soon as one is taken. I am just longing to see him.
Maurice goes overseas soon & will be in London next week end. I must get off to see him. I am due for a holiday as I havn't had a week-end off for four months!
I am toiling harder than ever now, as I am again acting flight commander. My flight commander, of whom I told you, has been sent to another squadron & the C.O. has given me command of the flight of machines which I have been working so hard at. It is probable that I will be promoted now & become a full flight commander instead of just acting one. Like everything else in the army that takes time – it has been over two months now but I suppose it may come eventually.
I am having an awful job will Elliots pupils who, I fear, were badly instructed as they are
