present moment am running both flights. But there is another flight-commander coming tomorrow so I will be able to concentrate on my own little new job. He can tackle the RE8 problems and we will see what he makes of it. My new job means less actual work for me as there is'nt so much dual to do and I am not sorry for the relief.

I have written to the Bank about that draft for £22 and have written to Miss OBrien giving full details about darling old Roger. I will hear from her in a day or so I expect. If the bank account cannot credit me with the £22 I will draw on my letter of credit for it.

I must go to bed now as it is very late and though it is blowing a howling gale at present it may be fine at 5.30 in the morning.
