Talking of photographs, the Mullinses told us a very amusing story of a mix-up in two of their cablegrams to the Bank of New South Wales, London. On the same day Jackada sent three cablegrams, – one to you, one to Eileen Toohey with congratulations on her marriage, & the third to the Manager of the Bank asking him to order from Sarong some more photos of Brendan, & to pay for them & send them to him by first mail. Whether the Cable Company, or the Bank people made the mistake I don't know, but the second & third cables were rolled into one, & must have considerably astonished Eileen Toohey when she got congratulations accompanied with a request to order & pay for some photos from Sarong. She meekly complied, & has written to Jackada saying that she had bought & paid for the photos & posted them to him; & now he is raging about seeking whom he can devour! He was too put out to see the joke at first, but now I believe he can raise a forced
