My own darling Mother & Father,

Just lately I have had a lovely lot of your letters – the mails I thought were lost turned up. So now I have your letters up to February 17th. I am so glad to see by your dear letters what a joy little Roger is to you all. It is so splendid to know that the dear little chap promises to be like his darling father, which will always be our dearest hope & wish. I am so delighted to read your letters which are so much brighter now that there is some good news to tell.

I hav'nt anything particular to tell since I last wrote. Things are going on just the same as ever – tons of work to do. The weather has been a little better though it is appallingly bad for April. On Sunday it snowed very heavily and it is still snowing occasionally. This certainly is a record winter!

I do a fair amount of flying whenever the weather is decent and am learning more every
