thing I want to be quite sure of, & that is that you won't take up law with the idea of "helping Daddy" if you would rather do something else, because as far as I am concerned I don't care a rap. All I want is that you will only take up what you will like, & what you will be a success at. Any way you will have a year to think over things while you finish your third year's Arts, as I suppose you will do, but what I want is that you will be free as air to take up anything you think you will stick to, & which you will take pleasure in.
Now I think I really must stop, as I want to write a line to Bryan & Maurice if I can. Mother is writing away at the other table, & I shall have to hunt her to bed directly.
