he could take up any type of machine & land it perfectly. Of course I can't claim to be able to land any type of machine, but at any rate I can land any machine I've had an opportunity to fly.
I don't know what they will do with me here in England. I hope they will keep me here indefinitely for your sakes, but it is always possible that they may send me to France again if there is a need for experienced pilots. One can never tell what they will do but I am sure that they will not send me out again unless I am really wanted.
I am very happy here at Croydon & am getting on very well. There are a nice lot of chaps here and I have several good friends. Old Brocklehurst is one of the very best and I think an awful lot of him. His brother Sir Phillip. B. who went to the South Pole with Shackleton was back from France on leave this week. He came up here & I took him up for a flight.
Maurice will be in London with Aunty & the girls tomorrow. We are all going to a theatre tomorrow night.
Well I am writing this in another chap's room and it is 12.30 p.m. & he wants to go to sleep so Good night and God bless you my darling Mother & Father.
Tons of love to you & Eileen & darling little Roger from
Your ever loving
Geoffrey
