but perhaps it is as well it happened as it has given me an early opportunity to show that I mean business. It will break the hardened surface of prejudice so that my proofs that the machine is safe will be able to soak in well. It is an indication of what I am up against and I realise that I have a hard flight ahead of me. There are bound to be disappointments and set-backs but I think I will convert them in the end. I flew a Bristol Fighter for the first time the other day. It is the best machine I've ever flown and I liked it immensely. I did very well on it and landed very well.
I am getting my room quite comfortable now and have it furnished & looking more cosy. I will be able to hang up all the family photos once more and have things looking much nicer.
I havn't any more news now but will write again soon.
