last week I examined my accounts at Cox & Co, who are the R.F.C. agents. My credit balance with them at the present moment must be about £115 (a hundred & fifteen pounds) and there must be about sixty pounds to my credit at the Commercial Bank (apart from my Letter of Credit).
I am not making any special efforts to economise or save up and am having the best time I can. I buy everything I want in the way of clothes and have a wild old bust when I have leave with Aunty & the girls. Beyond owing Cooling & Lawrence a few shillings (I paid my bill with them a week ago) and a small account with Rose for developing my photos, I have no debts as I pay for everything in cash. So you need'nt have any anxiety about my finances which are quite sound at present and are not likely to be otherwise.
I havn't any more news at the moment and the electric lights are just going out in about ten minutes so I will have to stop. Tons of love to you, Eileen, Peter & every one & wish all the family a very happy Christmas from me. God ever bless & keep you, My own darling old Mother and Father.
Your ever loving son
Geoffrey.
