She is looking after my dog "Girlie" for me while I am out here & much to my horror the bad old beastie presented her with five mongrel puppies the other day!! Mrs Vidal has been awfully good about it & the puppies are all drowned.
I have also had some more socks from you and several Bulletins & other papers since my last letter, thanks very much. I am finding the socks very useful these days & wear many pairs at the same time under my flying boots.
I am so glad you have been having some time at Manly & are enjoying the surf so much. You certainly are wonder workers to convert the Mulls to surfing! You must have had a great old birthday party with Eileen & Peter at Leura. The descriptions of Peter are simply great – he must be a darling
