strangers again. We had great old yarns about you all - it was simply splendid. He says that Peter is really the most wonderful little chap. Maurice was most humourous amusing about Frank. He could not get over his slow old way and made me laugh loudly by his description of Frank's slow & easy ways. One time Frank was rambling along through some story & suddenly Maurice burst out laughing. On Frank asking what he was laughing at, he said, "At the wonderfully swift way you are telling this story"! Maurice told me that what Frank wanted was to be under a really strict disciplinarian who would make him hustle, for he apparrently could do or not do just exactly what he pleased! I suppose over two years of Army life has made the ways of the young Australian recruit seem very strange.
It was great fun to be all together again for Cicely & Austin were there too. On
