do some letter writing. It is splendid that old Maurice has fixed things up to get back to finish his Medical Course. I think it is far the best thing for him, as there is nothing he can do over here except sit in an office. I do so wish I could be going with him back to you all once more. If I hadn't such an awful habit of keeping extraordinarily fit I might manage to wangle leave to Australia some day but as I am always quite fit & well there isn't much excuse. It would be simply glorious if we could all be together again would'nt it? I am simply living and longing for the day we all get home after these years of trials & sorrows. There just will be "some beano" then!
I have just had a letter from dear Aunty Mary saying that Austin has been told that he is to go back to France soon. It is just too awful and cruel that this should come just now in the midst of all their sorrow and anxiety. It makes me wild to think of Austin having to go back when there are
