much indeed. There is one particularly fine chap here, Brocklehurst, a brother of Sir Philip Brocklehurst who went on the Polar expedition with Shackleton. He is a most interesting chap and has done everything from Big game hunting in Africa to Polar Exploration. He is a regular soldier, a captain in the Hussars. He is quite one of the very best chaps I've met over here.

I am afraid I must go to bed now as it is half past eleven and they will wake me at 4.30 a.m. for early flying. I am awfully well and the life agrees with me though I am getting fat & lazy!
