told Daddy that he knew the Father of one of the bearers who had carried our darling back after he was wounded & knew a good deal about it all. His name is Wilkinson so Daddy is writing to him for particulars.  I nearly collapsed the other day at Killountain when Mrs. Odillo Maher who was there suddenly said that Herbert had written to her to say that he hoped Eileen did not mind only getting a visiting card from him when dearest Roger died as he had tried to write but could not & then proceeded to tell me that Cyril knew & had described to her the route over which our darling
