Auntie Mary wrote a nice long letter & told us you had been down with them & had been in London with some men you knew & with Brendan & had had a little amusement & pleasure with them. Daddy & I quite approve & are glad you were not alone in London after Mary & the girls left.

Auntie writes most lovingly about you dear & has the highest opinion of your sense & courage. I think it took a lot of courage & back bone on your part to get the transfer through as you did [indecipherable].

After a fortnight waiting your beautiful medallion arrived or rather was delivered. It is a sweet & lovely treasure & I know why you sent me the two angels dear
