Sunday evening we all wandered round Hyde Park listening to the Park orators - we had samples of everything from Mrs. Dacre Fox on "Intern the Hums" to the most foully blasphemous Atheists! We met Wade and the two girls there. Altogether we had a most pleasant & amusing family reunion. Dear Old Aunty Mary is simply wonderful. It is so cruel that Austin had to go back to France but Aunty & Cicely are simply splendidly brave about it.
Maurice has now been gazetted out of the Army and is a perfectly good civilian once more. He is off to Sydney as soon as they arrange his passage. He is a lucky old chap to be going back. I wish I could only get out to you my own darlings, if even for only a few months. Altogether my little holiday in town with the family did me an awful lot of good.
