and attend to them I judge the case to be the one exertion of Sir W. Macarthur, when I go to Kew I will see after more herbaceous [pts, etc] I have not as yet been able to get there.
I was truly sorry to learn again from your letter the sad condition of the Orchids again sent to Sydney, one almost despairs of success after such failure, however I will do my best again, I have not as yet purchased any more Orchids, but will when an op-portunity offers; I have just been to the Bot. Gardens, Oxford and met with a good collection of aquatics and other pants liberally offered by Mr Baxter the Curator I brought away some ten or twelve Nuphari & Nymphae
