I feel sure that you will have no reason to complain to this end, the proper placing on board.  I have called Lincoln's serious attention, & he has promised to do all he can to see to it.  My directions are that the cases should be as far as far as possible from the Engines, but in a dry as well as a cool place & not more than one tier [indecipherable] from the top of [indecipherable], if not, on the very top itself.  It might however perhaps get a little damp if on the very top.  I note what you say of your successful introductions from your friends in the East & have [indecipherable] Green for the future to the [indecipherable] purchases to Australian & African Orchids.  I have not seen [indecipherable] for an age.  It is my
