also a good strong plant of papyrus antiquorum which I could not get at Kew, as their plant was weak. Dr Hooker and Mr Smith I have seen and I shall probably get many good plants by the time you return.
I cannot as yet meet with Fortunes yellow Rose. I am getting on with the Houses and hope to have them in order before you return several good things have flowered such as Masdevallia Davisii, yellow Steinia fimbriata Cattleya citrina large Crinum scabro-capensa Tillandsia zahirii yellow very pretty sp. several others, the Bromelias are doing well planted in moss on the walls. The tree ferns are breaking well and some Telopea's are growing.
