My dear Friend

I have to [indecipherable] your very welcome letters of the 2nd & 29th of October.  Just now I will simply say in mercantile style that I note these contents & in [indecipherable] legal style that I will "condescend to particulars" next mail.  I [indecipherable] a B. of Lading for the Bog. Mag.  It was the old copy that I had at Brownlow Hill & every Vol. in its original state was often in the hand of my dear dear wife.  I do not think you will care less for it on that account.  You will have learned long ago that your Wardian Cases came in capital order, every thing
