understood that D. Sumneri & D. Superbiens are the same. Reichenbach [?] having here seen the find in flower & Williams having plenty of the latter for sale, you would have seen both in blossom & can set the matter right. It is an affair of some cause Green to Veitch.
Two or three days ago I sent a box to Lincoln addressed to you with Hill's name, Brisbane in the corner. It is full of acorns, packed in soil of the edible [indecipherable] Quercus Vallotra [?] or Ballota, a very beautiful tall growing [indecipherable].
