It has been dry indeed where with Easterly winds in Spring and continuous hot & dry weather during June & July and the early part of this month, one would scarcely know the Country wh. our Transatlantic friends used to designate "tarnation juicy". Springs, ponds & lakes are half dried up & [indecipherable], in fact I can compare the [indecipherable] part of the country to nothing but the look of Goulburn
