discreet of men read it & I send you a note which he wrote after its perusal.  I write to him to said your rare and in [indecipherable[ plants and as many uncommon [indecipherable] orchids & bulbs as he can put up.  I enclose letters also from [indecipherable] & Veitch.  I note what you say of both by the way & will communicate your [kind?] expression of sympathy to the former.  [indecipherable] trouble but it is too long a story to trouble you with it now.  I am sorry to say that [indecipherable] who between [indecipherable] is a somewhat [indecipherable]
