I can describe. We were both so well there & since our return to London my poor dear wife has again become a sad sufferer from Sciatica & horrific pains generally, which torment her to that degree that her appetite is quite destroyed, hence [indecipherable] a degree of frustration & debility which frightens her dreadfully. There is no [indecipherable] of any kind the Doctors say beyond the weakness of stomach produced by inanition. I am sick at heart my dear Friend today, indeed have been so for many days past & feel quite unequal to write to you any letter worth reading. You will see that
