A very unpleasant consequence of this result has been a [indecipherable] in Spring among the Tenant Farmers to get their [indecipherable] forgetting the good seasons they have been enjoying for years, & probable rich & great proprietors have already [indecipherable] my Tenant, a rich man, who has his land at a very low rate indeed & who has this year really very good crops, comes hat in hand & tells me that he cannot live at the old rate. Confound him & his [indecipherable].
