It is called I believe here D [indecipherable] palpably a false name.

I enclose a few notes that may interest you.  The Nicholsons are coming here on Tuesday next to stay for a few days & if the weather would but remain as it is today perfectly charming we will have "a pleasant time of it" as the [indecipherable] say but the whole season has been so detestably bad that no one now looks for his fine days to [indecipherable], indeed the proportion of bad to fine days must be 60 to 2.  The consequence has been few flowers, no fruit
