in all his sympathies for those around him, so hopeful for the future. That this I know too that he was suffering from a dangerous aggressive derangement. I never thought of him as one likely to predecease myself & confidently indulged the hope of seeing him again. This I shall never do in this world. May God in his infinite mercy grant that I may do so in another & better. There are very few men if any that I have loved better, and in truth I do not know that I have ever met any man more deserving of love. I have never known any one man considerate of the feelings of others, more anxious not to give offence, or more ready to forgive others for their offences.
