are to run away before this time next [indecipherable] to Norway intending to push on for North Cape.  I wish you were here to go with us.  Well old Wentworth proposed to accompany us, but as I heard nothing of it from him last night & he does not appear to be in travelling times I imagine at least I hope that he has given up the idea.

There is a subject my dear Fellow which I want [indecipherable] to write to you about.  I need scarcely tell you what it is, but I have not been today, nor am I in a position any more than others to say anything definite in connection with it, but from the bottom of my heart I trust that it comes to something.  I somehow make
