Statement of Promissary Notes held by Wm W Billyard recd from the undermentioned parties for Rents due by them for the 10 Months ending 31 Dec 1862 of farms at Brownlowhill. P/N dated 28 July 1863 payable 12 months after Date
Receipts given for the above Notes is as follows, viz: Received from the following parties 3 Notes drawn by them p. 12 [indecipherable] after date for the amounts placed against their respective names which 3 receipts in payments of the Rents of their farms as known as Brownlow Hill from 1 March to 31 Dec 62 & I further agree to accept one half of the sums in payment of same provided such Amounts are paid punctually at the date of the said Py Ns become due
With the following parties no settlement has as yet been made Gandbuy run away Septimus Davis did not attend L Livermens run away Jas Smith did not attend James Cooke left Milsom dead Jas Clark £12.10/) Jno Donahue £12.15/) these two men did not attend but Grundy undertook to get the Notes signed
