Received a letter from mother dated 2/7/16 but not numbered also Sunday Times.
Have received all letters up to No 6 & wouldn't mind if you send along a few more cakes. I have plenty of everything in the clothing line.
Capt Hunter & the nine men who left by the "Ajana" have arrived. They had a very busy time on board, a few cases of meningitis two of which they lost. They are isolated here for some time & cant come among the rest of the men.
Am in bed at present fairly weak but quite well. Everyone elso is about the same.
No news yet as to when we are going to the front.
Jack wishes to be remembered kindly to everyone.
Remember me also to Elsa & tell her to hurry up with another letter.
There were seven bags of Aust. parcels arrived today and only three letters. I didn't score anything.
