Dear Dad,
Received your letter of 4/11/18 some days ago. I got a notification from the Commonwealth Bank about the £25 which I instructed them to hang on to for me. This money will come in pretty handy as I believe we get 14 days leave before embarkation & I think I will get outfitted in the way of clothes. Although there is nothing official through yet with regard to repatriation the latest rumours are that they intend sending 1000 every ten days from a division, each divvy in turn. Jack and I are 47 & 48 on the precedence roll of the unit & ought to catch the first or second allotment. In making up the precedure roll OC's of units were instructed to take everything into consideration, married men of 1916 quota head the list then single men with dependents, then special cases
