Jack & I were going to Bournemouth for the week end but the W.O. advised us that there was to be a muster parade on Sunday so we deem it advisable to return on Saturday night.

Tomorrow Saturday is a holiday on account of the Divisional sports but I don't think there is to be any spectators. The one thing we are looking forward to is that we can sleep in till eight o'clock. It is getting pretty dark of a morning now & I expect the early morning parade will soon cut out. The clock will be put back an hour to normal next month under the Daylight Saving Bill. I can't imagine what we will do in winter to pass the time away. Of a wet day now we do nothing but the whole hut has gone boxing mad so that will come in handy.

I am becoming most proficient in the art & critics promise a brilliant professional future for me.

I am enclosing a few more photos & films herein which I trust you will keep safely.

There is absolutley no news to tell you - we are passing time away as usual  & will not go near the front until after the winter.
