& after a couple of days came on here. This is some place believe me. It is just luxury from top to bottom & we are living the life of the elite. There are any amount of officers about & a few Aussie privates but no interference whatever. So long as you have money London will accept you. We did not spend much money until we hit London but since then I have been spending more in a day than I used to earn in a week at home. On an average, £2.10 a day. That amounts to about £1000 a year. But talk about life - we are seeing it now & never again I suppose. I am sitting in a beautiful smoking room, outside in the tea room there is music & gaiety. The day we arrived in London Billy James shouted us to dinner at the flashest restaurant in London Frascati's & we took him to see "Chu Chin Chow".
