Dear Dad & Mother
Received that billy cont'g pudding nuts lollies etc today. Thanks very much. It was a bit musty on the top but I cut that off & it has kept exceptionally well everywhere else. It is now cut up into slices & heating on the top of the heater in the hut. We have made plenty of toast & cocoa & are just about to indulge in a scrumptious supper. The billy has come in very useful in supplying a receptacle for heating our water.
About the pills - as I have still more than three quarters of that big bottle left I have given that small bottle to a constant patient of mine. In fact I have several callers for those pills. They are doing many people a lot of good although I have not had an occasion to take any myself except for curiosity sake - having been recommended to them by my patients to my undoing & have decided in future to leave well alone.
