of gems & one in  particular was a  glittering mass of diamonds containing about 6000. There was one  immense ruby worth about 5000 pounds worn by one of the kings through the  battle  of  Agincourt & also a sapphire of  nearly similiar value taken from the ring of some enemy king  captured in one of those old battles. The  Cullinan diamonds are both there but not the Kohinoor. For more of the  tours  read the guide.

After  dinner we visited St Paul's, booked  seats for La  Tosca & had a fine dinner at one of the Strand Hotels.
