are not nearly as good as we live under. That was a nice letter from Mrs Scott. I haven't heard from her for a good while.
Thanks for the little bit of advice about "What's Jean's is mine or will be". I didn't mean to be that serious but it is timely advice I might say I wasn't thinking of anything definite as yet - in any case not till I am through. Anyhow I will have a little yarn about that later. I am glad you got that cloth. I hope it fits some table - it wasa little big I think if anything.
A few days ago one of our boys - Johnnie Leah - a medical student was recalled to Australia to finish his course at the university. We worded the cooks & with their help gave him a fine little send off. He is a real fine chap & I gave him your address to call on when he gets back.
I suppose you know we have lost our O.C. & a few nights ago gave him a send off in the form of a concert.
My word we are sorry to lose him.
