I am very glad the big photo turned up all right - I thought it was a beauty. It ought to look fine framed. I got the mail with the reproduction in & now it adorns the wall of the hut. Strikes me we had a better Xmas over here than you did in Australia. There were plenty of good things floating about here with the many parcels.

Poor old Alf Moss hasn't been too good lately. He is having a good rest now though back in a hospital & may rejoin us very soon. Of course I wouldn't mention it to his mother unless she already knows. He is a nice chap & he & I used to do guard together through the night just before he was sent away. Was just having a yarn to Ces Phelan about Kerr's shop. He used to work there & knows Dad. An officer just came in & asked him would he make some cocoa for them. He was very polite until the officer went out & then you should have heard him go crook. We tease him about it. He is another fine chap. We have a bosker new MDS & I have got a job as an off sider to the operating theatre. It is a good job, see plenty of
