wires & poles are knocked "rotten" as soldiers say. The rivers fascinate me. I like wandering round these cities. We came across a bosker library in a chap's house. He had all kinds of books on religion, philosophy & science. I am reading some of these now they were scattered in all directions. Chateaux always seem to come in for a good deal of attention too. All the beautiful places are skittled. We have been down for a couple of days camped in a lovely little wood handy to a river too. The weather is delightful & we spend a good bit of our spare time on the river bank. Shorts & singlets are the order this weather & we are developing the old time colour.
What do people think of all these late stunts of Fritz? Of course we do not know much about anything that doesn't actually occur about us but no-one seems to "get the wind up" much over them here & nothing interests us outside our own little sector.
