She lives at Bondi - one of a big family. Her brother Jim is a great mate of mine. I will give you her address later on in the letter.

Heard from Merv Cox today - he wrote a very funny letter threatening to expose me if I don't send him  £5. He is going out to see you with his mate Jim Yates.

I haven't heard from M'lle Panaget as to whether she has received your parcel. I know she will appreciate it greatly.

By the way, you weren't far out in your prediction about the war being over in October - just eleven days out.

Miss Campbell's address is "Pendeen" O'Brien St, Bondi. Did you ever meet Mrs Bickford. Her son Dick is one of "us" - one of the "civic club".
