or two. What do you think of Jack's sister Mary?   She is a nice girl & plays the piano well. Jack thinks the world of her. He talks about Mary & I talk about Jean to console one another. We often go out of a night walking round the ruins & yarning.   We had just decided to send home cables at intervals as you suggest in fact I have a cable in my pocket now to send. It was very decent of Ivy to send you my letter to her.   She is not a bad kid only she talks. Fancy Bessie getting married. She will lose her chap if he comes over here. What do you think of the Daylight Savings idea. It must be great out there now.   I know how funny it used to seem to have to go to bed in the daylight in England. I am glad you are getting all the photos OK.

I would give anything to be allowed to carry a camera here. I could get some wonderful snaps. Had a letter from Billy yesterday. He is back at work again in London.
