Dear Mother & Dad

Today we received seven bags of Australian mail & you can imagine the happy & excited feeling that passed through the camp. Everyone is reading & passing around their letters to be noted by those who are concerned with their ocntent. I got four & a Sydney Mail (from Jean), one from Auntie Mary, one from Jack, one from you (No 5) & Jean. Jack said he was wishing he was abroad with me on the Argyllshire. I wish so too, we would have had a fine time together. I am enclosing a cutting from a bulletin I picked up here. Our table is simply packed with Sydney papers of all kinds which the boys have sent to them  & the hut looks like an antidated [?]  home.

We are still having great weather just like Australia & have not seen rain for a month. Our daily routine is becoming more varied now, the 'heads' have taken it unto themselves to think that we need more than physical training & are beginning to give us lectures & first aid. We often go out for a run to
