been with us ever since & became a great mate of us all. We used to put him to bed every night in the straw in the stable where we slept & he always occupied a chair round the fire side with us. We buried him in the orchard. We are permitted to use our cameras now so I will be probably sending home some snaps from time to time.
I should like to have been down in Paris while the king was there a few days ago. Some of our chapes happened to strike leave just at the time. I want to try & see Paris again before going home. Well goodbye for the present mother. Nothing is happening. Our next move might be towards home. We are waiting for it patiently. Tell Dad to send those law almanacs as soon as possible - the 1914 one & the latest. Remember me to all & love to all at home from
