towns is fairly liberal & in a day or two Jack & I are going for a day at the seaside - where we went before. Bugle has just blown for coffee & biscuits, 7 pm so I will retire for a while.

I have a good job at present - still postman & have a lovely motor trip through the country every morning for the mail. It is great - the country here is beautiful & a motor trip through France is something one can't quite realise.

I have received several letters from you lately & one from Dad but in between there are some missing & just the ones that would have said something about the presents. You do not mention getting one yourself - a hand bag nor a box of battlefield souvenirs - what we call ironmongery. It contained a belt of badges & some more grim souvenirs of the battlefield which I would be very sorry to lose. I suppose the censor has cut them out like he did half that
