be. In the last 48 hours Jack & I have been away from the place occupying a couple of dugouts to preserve possession. They are two of a number in the opposite hill & look just like a nest of rabbit warrens. We get relieved tomorrow. It is a very pretty spot & we are having quite a decent time. Sometimes we fish - not with lines though, with bombs - some sport.

I have no idea how long we will be here but we are not doing any "bizz" & there is little work & we are not in the line.

Have not had any mail for a few weeks but expect it daily now.
